Renovation and Fire Rating of a 130 year old, 148 bed age care facility bullt in 1880.
Works included:
- Replacement of all ceilings and ceiling frameworks throughout the home.
- Upgrading of all services, replacement and renovation of all bathrooms.
- Fire and smoke compartmentation throughout.
- Renewal and replacement of all fire escape staircases and passage/hallways.
- Modification and alteration of existing sprinkler system.
- Construction of exit ramps.
- Insertion of fire rated doors and door jambs where required.
- Upgrading of smoke detectors, nurse call systems, lighting and power as required.
